LIMID Mohelno s.r.o. continues to expand production using the proven method of gradual steps. During the company's existence, the company's technical subsystem has managed to build a modern machine park focused on advanced technologies in the field of precision machining and at the same time to set these technologies in an appropriate environment in modern production facilities. In the area of the social subsystem, it has managed to build and stabilize a qualified work team and increase employment. This has led to an order of magnitude increase in production while ensuring uncompromising quality and acquiring a portfolio of solvent customers. The implementation of this project is therefore another step in fulfilling the strategy whose main motive is the gradual growth of the company and strengthening its competitiveness. The project includes the acquisition of a deburring and bending machine, a bending press, a welding robot, a bridge crane for the newly prepared production hall, a forklift and an off-road loader. The construction of a new hall, the incorporation of new elements into the production process and the use of handling equipment will lead to the restructuring of company processes, an increase in their efficiency and effectiveness, with an impact on a further increase in employment.

Yesterday, June 13, 2023, a tactical exercise was held at LIMID Mohelno s.r.o., the topic of which was a fire caused by an incorrect technological work procedure. The mixing of steel and aluminum dust in the extraction machine from the laser cutter caused the machine in the production and storage hall to catch fire and the entire hall to become heavily smoke-filled.
The employees were unable to extinguish the fire with available fire extinguishing agents due to heavy smoke. They opened the retractable gates and doors to the open space, disconnected the entire hall from the electricity supply, and prepared a boarding area for the fire brigade.
The task of the firefighters was to quickly and effectively extinguish the fire.
The exercise was attended by professional firefighters from the stations in Náměšť nad Oslavou and Hrotovice, together with the HZS unit of the ČEZ a.s. Dukovany company and a unit of the volunteer fire brigade from Mohelno.
